In November 2023, I participated in IndySCC 23, an HPC competition under the supervision of Jiahua Zhao, where our team worked on running and optimizing the Community Earth System Model. (Home | Community Earth System Model )
Although we did not win a prize—unfortunately, a teammate accidentally deleted the timing files during copying—the experience was incredibly valuable. I gained hands-on experience with Linux, which has been immensely beneficial in my subsequent work. Thanks to this experience, I also learned how to use Raspberry Pi, which is very interesting.
