Quaternions, Borcherds lifting

Professor Tonghai Yang organized a reading seminar on Brandon Williams’ thesis “Computing modular form for the weil representation” in Spring 2025 at UW-Madison.

In this seminar, I gave a talk on the Borcherds Lift, the key theorem used in the proof of the Monstrous Moonshine Conjecture, where I introduced this theorem and gave two examples for $F(z)=j(z)-744$, and $F=24$.
